Rua-das-Pedras

Rua das Pedras

Praia Ferradura

An icon of Búzios, Rua das Pedras is the portrait of the resort town’s glamour. Just over 600 meters long, the “catwalk” is full of trendy bars, sophisticated restaurants, designer shops, inns, cafes, art galleries, ice cream parlors, nightclubs … The crowds are sparse during the day but when night falls and the yellowish streetlights take over the street, the buzz permeates every nook.

Boat Ride

Scuna

One way to get to know the beaches and islands of Búzios is by taking a boat ride. Among the options are schooners, motorboats, and trawlers, which circulate in the cove of Búzios. There are daily outings, leaving from Armação beach. For a more intimate ride, opt for a trawler or motorboat. The schooners are the most likely due to a large number of passengers.

Designed in the spirit of indoor-outdoor living to inspire your vacation. One glimpse of the house will reveal that you’re in for something special. You will be struck by the sense of privacy offered by this safe and secure property's spectacular setting.
The combination of crystal clear waters and diverse marine life makes Búzios a veritable aquarium. The average temperature under water is around 22ºC degrees, while the visibility is about ten meters (during the summer it can go up to 25 meters) - perfect conditions for beginner and veteran divers to enjoy the beauties hidden under the sea.

For scuba diving (using cylinders), one of the best places is the Ilha da ncora, six miles from the coast - about half an hour by boat - where the average visibility is 12 meters and can go up to 25 meters during the summer. The island offers shelter from the winds and currents during most of the year, which ensures clear water - the exception is the month of May, when the winds are stronger and visibility may be affected. Other popular sites are islands Gravatás, Filhote and Ilha Feia.

Another sought after diving site is the nearby town of Arraial do Cabo (a 30 minute drive from Búzios). The town's beaches are among the best in the country for diving.
Búzios is also a paradise when it comes to fine dining, with a mixture of French, Italian, Japanese, Thai... In each, typical flavors and delicacies fit for the most demanding and varied palates. The reason for such diversity is the large number of foreigners who came to spend a few days in town, fell in love, and never left. From their birthplaces, they brought the spices and secrets that enhance the seafood dishes – fish are the flagship of local cuisine, after all, Búzios emerged as a fishing village and is surrounded by beaches on all sides.
